“Reactive Subbotnik” will be held on Cosmonautics Day in the Moskovsky district of Kazan

(KZN.RU, April 10). On Cosmonautics Day on April 12, “Reactive Subbotnik” will be held in the Moskovsky district of Kazan.

For 108 minutes, residents of the district will clean up Gagarin Street and adjacent yards. According to the organizers, time was chosen as a tribute to the feat of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, he spent exactly 108 minutes in space.

The administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts of Kazan urges residents to take an active part in the event. The bonus will be surprises and gifts that will be played at the “Reactive Subbotnik”. Thus, you could take part in the asphalt drawing contest “My Planet Earth!”, the thematic interactive “Poekhali!” (Rus. “Let's go”), a quiz devoted to the theme “Planet Earth”, and other activities. Also, a separate collection of garbage will be organized on the site. Anyone who brings a bag of plastic bottles will receive a guaranteed prize – clean water from the partner of the event.

The gathering will be in the yard of the house №105 on Gagarin Street. The start of the subbotnik is at 9.07 am.

Until May 31, the spring two-months period for sanitary cleaning and improvement of the city is taking place in Kazan. During this time, citizens will be able to take part in actions to clean parks, squares, yards, and other public spaces. On April 20, all Kazan citizens are invited to the citywide subbotnik.
