The Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Metroelectrotrans” carried out work to improve the illumination of platforms and lobbies, as well as work on restoration the architectural illumination of panels at the stations Gabdulla Tukai Square and Kremlevskaya. Also, rubber carpets were laid for the safety of passengers.
Last year, new branded trains ran in the metro - the financial literacy train, a train to mark the Year of Native Languages and National Unity in Tatarstan, and a festive train ran on the New Year’s Eve.
In 2022, which has been declared the Year of Digitalization in the republic of Tatarstan, new projects are planned. It is planned to make Kazan's electric transport even more accessible, more convenient and more comfortable for passengers and visitors of the capital.
