A lesson “Welcome the World Cup-2018!” will be held in Kazan a month before the tournament

Schoolchildren in all cities hosting the World Cup-2018 will learn interesting facts about the match.

(KZN.RU, May 11). On May 14, exactly one month before the start of the World Cup-2018, lessons for schoolchildren on the theme “Welcome World Cup-2018!” will be held.in all cities of the tournament. The lesson in Kazan will be organized in the IT-Lyceum of the Kazan Federal University.

Students will learn more about the history of the FIFA World Cup, the process of preparing Russia for the tournament and will hear interesting facts about it. The lecturers will be volunteers of the organizing committee of the World Cup 2018 and city volunteers. Also, friendly matches and master classes will be organized, in which athletes and ambassadors of the host cities of the World Cup-2018 will take part, reports the ANO “Directorate of Sports and Social Projects”.

In the meantime, preparation for the meeting of the guests and participants of the World Cup-2018 continues in Kazan. Last weekend, a mobile exhibition timed to the championship was held on the Millennium Square, and an around-the-clock hotline for tourists arriving at the tournament is being prepared for launching in the Rospotrebnadzor.
