The main cycle event of the city will be held from 13 to 14 of October.
(KZN.RU, October 11). From 13 to 14 of October, the capital of Tatarstan for the second time will host the main cycle event of Kazan: “Night Cycle Fest-2018”. This year, the main theme of the cycle walk around the city will be “Hospitable Kazan”. The route will affect not only the main entrance gate of the city, but also the main bright sights of Kazan, which have become its hallmark.
The participants of the “Night Cycle Fest” will start on October 13 at the 1 May Square. On their way, they will make several stops in the Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, in the River Port, near the Family Center “Kazan”, on Svobody Square. Cyclists will finish near the walls of the Kazan Kremlin, on 1 May Square. Throughout the route, the traffic on the roads will be temporarily restricted.
This year, gifts will be provided to the first 50 participants. They will receive branded cycling thermal flasks, hot soft drinks, and at the finish, everyone will have a bright closure from the project partners: 4 thousand servings of non-alcoholic drinks, nutritious snacks, and cold fountains.
The event always gains great interest among citizens and residents of nearby cities. Tour operators of such cities as Samara, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, and Yoshkar-Ola were timely informed about the upcoming event so that as many Kazan guests as possible could enjoy a cycling tour of the night city.
Given the scale of the event and the complexity of its organization, the “Night Cycle Fest” was made possible with the support of the Kazan City Hall and the participation of the Kazan Tourism Promotion Committee. The project “Night Bicycle Fest” is supported by numerous sponsors and partners. Thanks to their active participation, the event is becoming increasingly rich from year to year.
Last year, more than 5000 cyclists from Kazan, Moscow, Kirov, Irkutsk, Bugulma, and other cities took part in the “Night Cycle Fest”. The cycle race of last year was devoted to philanthropists and patrons of art.
