Vladimir Putin is supported by more than 76.2 million citizens
The Central Election Commission of Russia has summed up the official results of the presidential election.
Vladimir Putin receives 87.28% of the votes, and is supported by more than 76.2 million Russians.
The candidate from the Communist Party Nikolai Kharitonov receives 4.31% of the vote, the representative of the New People party Vyacheslav Davankov – 3.85%, Leonid Slutsky– 3.2%.
The final turnout in the elections was 77.49%, which was a record in the history of Russia.
