The Games of the Future trophy was launched into space

The launch vehicle covered 193 kilometers in nine minutes

The trophy of the Games of the Future was launched into space today. The capsule with the symbol of the upcoming competitions was launched aboard the Progress MS-25 cargo ship from the Baikonur cosmodrome at 12:25.

The flight started in normal mode. In 8 minutes and 52 seconds, the launch vehicle covered 193 km, entering Earth orbit. On December 3, the spaceship should dock at the ISS station. The trophy will return from orbit in 2024, after which it will be solemnly presented at the Games of the Future in the capital of Tatarstan.

At a press conference dedicated to the competition, project manager Igor Stolyarov said that 270 tons of component rocket fuel should be burned in the first 9 minutes during the launch of the ship.
