The construction of a school in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan is completed by 70%

Interior finishing works and landscaping are underway

The construction of a school for 1,224 students on Sibgat Khakima Street in Kazan is completed by 70%. At the moment, the internal bricklaying, installation of metal structures, waterproofing of basement walls, installation of windows, installation of heating mains and elevators have been completed. Interior finishing works and landscaping of the territory are currently underway, the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan reported.

The four-storey building has an area of 24,508 sq.m. On the ground floor there will be class rooms, two swimming pools and a canteen. An assembly hall, two gyms, a library and offices will be located on the second and third floors. There will be basketball, volleyball and tennis court, as well as a football pitch at school. Also, the educational institution will be accessible for children with disabilities: ramps have already been installed at the entrance groups and elevators.

The school is being built under the Education national project. More than 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for construction, it is being carried out according to schedule. By July 1, it is planned to complete the construction and installation works, equip the school with furniture and improve its territory.

For reference, four educational institutions are being built in Kazan: on Sibgat Khakima Street, Rauis Gareev Street (near Lyceum No. 186), at Salavat Kupere and the Svetlaya Dolina residential complex.
