The Sovetsky district of Kazan was among the winners of the republican competition for the best New Year's design

<p> (KZN.RU, January 26). The Sovetsky district of Kazan was among the winners of the republican contest for the best New Year's design among urban districts and municipalities. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, gave the certificate for the first place to Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the Sovetsky district’s administration. The results of the competition were announced today by Ekzam Gubaidullin, the chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the RT, at the meeting at the Government House of the RT in the format of a weekly video conference. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, held the meeting. </p> <p> </p> <p> Ekzam Gubaidullin said that on January 24, the Council of Municipalities of the RT jointly with the Public Chamber of RT held a meeting of the competition committee. They determined the best New Year decoration in cities and municipalities. He reported that the first-place winner in each nomination was given 1 million rubles, for the second place – 500 thousand rubles, and for the third place – 200 thousand rubles. The total prize fund amounted to 11.7 million rubles. </p> <p> </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, presented certificates for the first places in the nominations of the competition. </p> <p> </p> <p> Thus, the prize for the best decoration of the central Christmas tree in the districts of Kazan was awarded to the Sovetsky district. </p> <p> </p> <p> The President of the RT noted that this year, all municipal districts and cities of the republic were well-prepared and decorated the main festive New Year's grounds. According to him, such contests for the best New Year's decorations are very important, reports the portal of the Government of the RT. </p> <p> </p> <p> The competition was held from December 25 to January 25 in six nominations among the cities of the republic, urban-type settlements, and rural settlements. </p>
