Soso Pavliashvili performs for the participants of the special military operation and the medical staff of the Kazan military hospital

The singer has opened a series of charity concerts at the institution

Singer and composer Soso Pavliashvili performed a one-hour concert at the Kazan military hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defense. He performed his most famous songs for the soldiers of the special military operation and medical staff. His performance opened a series of charity concerts, which will take place at the medical institution on the initiative of the artists, the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the military hospital.

Soso Pavliashvili has prepared a special program for the performance, which includes the hits “Let's Pray for Parents”, “Heaven in the Palm of Your Hand”, and others. “I came to Kazan at the call of my heart and, and asked for this performance. It's good that there are friends in the city who supported me, so today I look into your eyes and see your smiles. This is the greatest joy for me. My deepest regards to each of you. May all the fighters we pray for return to their loved ones!”- the singer said.

The performance took place in the conference hall of the military hospital, which was specially equipped for the concert. There was no stage in the hall, so the artist performed very close to the audience, and in between songs he interacted with the soldiers and medical staff. As a result, the atmosphere of the concert turned out to be homely, despite the large number of people in the hall. After the performance, the audience lined up for autographs.

In March 2023, the singer performed for the families of participants of the special military operation. The concert took place at the Saidash Recreation Center organized by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the artist.

“Music has a very positive effect on the emotional state of patients, lifting their mood and improving the functioning of all brain functions and internal organs,”- said Captain Diomid Karslidis, acting head of the medical unit at Kazan Military Hospital. “We treat not only physically but also psychologically, and that is equally important. It is great, and I would like to thank you very much for organizing this,”- he added.

Azat Abzalov, head of the Department of Culture, continued: “The concert by the famous and beloved artist Soso Pavliashvili is the first in a series of charity events we will be holding at the hospital. We have received many proposals from creative people who want to come and support patients and medical personnel with their performances. They want to express their gratitude for the work done here. We will certainly coordinate the concert program with the doctors to choose performances that will be beneficial for patients, as music also has healing powers.”

Concerts by Kazan musicians and artists will take place at the hospital: the Fantasia women's jazz orchestra, the Kazan Nury Orchestra of folk instruments and others. Earlier, the La Primavera Chamber Orchestra performed at the hospital.

For reference, on the eve of the New Year in the Kazan circus, 5,000 children of the participants of the special military operation attended New Year's performances and received gifts from the Mayor of the city.

Construction of the military hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defense began in 2021, and it was opened in September 2022. There is a polyclinic, a medical and diagnostic department, on the fourth floor there are operating and intensive care units. Earlier, the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin visited the hospital.
