On the Day of the republic of Tatarstan and the City of Kazan, the longest trade counter for self-employed in Russia was opened near the Kremlin, the length of which is 245.5 meters. The record was set at the “I am Tatarstan fair”, the certificate was presented to the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the republic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov. The fair was also visited by Ildar Shakirov, the Deputy head of the Executive Committee of Kazan.
“We see that the experience on the introduction of a special tax regime – a tax on professional income, which started in 2019, is successful. Today, the republic occupies one of the leading positions in the country, and this is also the merit of our 208 thousand self–employed,”- Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said.
Woodwork, leather, porcelain tableware, jewelry and other goods produced by over 300 Tatarstan self-employed were presented in the counter, the Press Office of Tatarstan Ministry of Economy reported.
Thanks to large-scale fairs, Tatarstan self-employed people can share their experience and find new customers. Such events have been held for the fourth year in a row with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the republic of Tatarstan, the Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund and the “My Business” Center.
