More than 17.7 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

586 road workers and 340 units of special machinery will be involved in cleaning today.

(KZN.RU, January 26). 17687 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. In total, 662 road workers and 844 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 101 combined road machines, 71 CRM “Boschung”, 19 snow loaders, 123 brush tractors, 35 graders, 106 wheel loaders, 53 MKSM “Barsik”, 310 dump trucks, and others were among them.

947 tons of anti-icing treatment was used on the roads of the city for the day, including 141 tons of reagent and 806 tons of sand-salt mixture.

According to the districts’ administrations, 586 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 340 units of special equipment will be used today.

In total, more than 337 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee for External Improvement.
