A three-year yard improvement program starts in Tatarstan in 2020

<p> (KZN.RU, August 20). A new large-scale program on the arrangement of yards will be implemented in Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, announced it today at the meeting with editors of leading mass media of the republic. </p> <p> For three years since 2020, it is planned to put in order the yards of all apartment buildings within the framework of the project “Our Yard”. About 50 billion rubles are provided for these purposes. </p> <p> The President of the RT marked that the development of the program “Our Yard” was preceded by a lot of work with the population. In particular, a list of necessary work is defined, including the installation of benches, lamps, landscaping of playgrounds, or the organization of parking. </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov added that the main principle in developing a new program is to hear the requests of the Tatarstan people. At the first stage, a mass survey will be conducted so that every citizen can speak out about the standards for the improvement of local territories. It will be organized at polling stations on September 8, at the same time with the elections of deputies of the State Council of the RT, reports the press service of the President of the RT. </p> <p> Today, 40 socially-oriented programs are being implemented in the republic aimed at improving the life quality of residents. Projects cover almost all areas: housing, healthcare, education, road construction, development of public spaces, and many others. A proposal to expand the number of state programs by developing a separate project for the improvement of local territories was made by the United Russia party. The President of the RT supported this initiative. </p>
