Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin meet the Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavaş

The parties discussed issues of developing and strengthening of business relations

Today, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin met Mansur Yavaş, the Mayor of Ankara, in the Kazan Kremlin.

The parties discussed issues of developing and strengthening existing relations, building up business contacts and connections in various areas. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Mayor of Ankara for his attention to the development of Tatarstan. He also emphasized that the republic contributes to the strengthening Russian-Turkish relations.

“We value good relations between our fraternal peoples. Trade turnover is growing both between Turkey and Russia, and at the interregional level. Trade turnover between Turkey and Tatarstan doubled at the end of last year, and this year it also has positive dynamics,”- Rustam Minnikhanov said.

The Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavaş has arrived in Kazan to participate at the Kazanysh International Architectural and Construction Forum, which takes place in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan on 5-7 December.
