The head of the Republic and the mayor of Kazan also inspected the renovation of the entrance zone to the park “Dubrava”.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the skating rink at the “Black lake” park and the park “Dubrav”" today.

The attraction center of the park “Black lake” is a skating rink with an area of more than 6 thousand square meters, which is already open to visitors. For the New Year holidays for the convenience of citizens in the park has expanded the rental office, wooden boards were installed, stairs were secured with rubber coating, and a coffee shop opened. This year, the rink was decorated with festive illumination.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the theme areas of the park, skated, and talked with Kazan citizens.

Then the President of Tatarstan visited the park “Dubrava” and inspected the renovation of the entrance zone. Director of MBI “Directorate of parks and squares” Marat Zakirov told Rustam Minnikhanov that after the meetings with residents the main important functions of the entrance group were defined. Thus, there are cafes, ski and bicycle rental, as well as the heated bus stop. At the request of the citizens, parking spaces were provided outside the forest.

During the inspection of the park, Marat Zakirov informed about the cultural events held in the parks and squares. In particular, 907 events were organized this year, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
