Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin visit the yards improved under the republican program in Kazan

They got acquainted with the new mural, a public garden and green areas on Krasnokokshayskaya, Chkalova and Vosstaniya streets.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the implementation of the Our Yard program in Kazan. He was accompanied by the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin.

The first point of their visit was the yard on 154 Krasnokokshayskaya Street. In the course of improvement, pedestrian sidewalks were renovated here, outdoor lighting, benches were installed and the sports ground was updated. All the trees were preserved during the work, and the colorful mural at the transformer substation became the decoration of the yard.

Besides, Tatarstan President and the Mayor of Kazan got acquainted with the improvement of the yard on 7 Chkalova Street. As part of the program, a new safe sidewalk was created on its territory, play and sports grounds were moved deeper into the yard, and a buffer of the green zone was created between them. In the yard, play equipment was installed, designed for children of all ages. In addition, the President was informed that a public vegetable garden was organized at the request of residents.

Also, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin visited the renovated yard of the on 49 Vosstaniya Street. Special attention was paid to the functionality of the territory, parking spaces were optimized and pedestrian safety was improved, the Tatarstan President’s Press Office reported.
