<p> Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the new Nuriev Clinic medical center.<br> </p> <p> The medical facility was built in 2023, it was opened at 13 Akademika Lavrentieva Street. Two main profiles are provided here - surgical and laboratory. Surgical procedures can be performed under the control of an X-ray machine, which increases the efficiency of doctors. </p> <p> The wards are equipped with alarm buttons for calling medical staff. There are special consoles near each bed, with the help of which medical gases are supplied if necessary. A special isolation ward is equipped for infected patients. </p> <p> On the second floor there is a laboratory equipped with modern automatic analyzers and a system of secure gateways through which biomaterial is transmitted. It can carry out up to 220 thousand tests per year. </p> <p> Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin visited the clinic and got acquainted with the plans for further improvement of medical services. Thanks to the center, 100 new jobs have also been created, the Press Office of the Rais of Tatarstan reports. </p> <p> In addition, waiting times for gynecological and urological surgery will be reduced for patients. In total, this year surgeons plan to perform about 1,400 surgeries – more than 1 thousand gynecological and 100 urological, as well as over 300 plastic surgeries. </p> <p> The new medical center is an investment project in which the Nuriev Clinic Group of companies has invested more than 237 million rubles. The land plot for the construction of the institution was allocated by the order of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan. The project was implemented with the support of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the Tatarstan Ministry of Health and the Mayor's Office of Kazan. </p>
