Almost 8 thousand tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets per day

<p> (KZN.RU, February 28). 7995 tons of snow were removed from Kazan streets over the past day. 663 road workers and 583 units of special equipment were involved in work on the streets. 91 combined road machines, 64 CRM “Boschung”, 15 snow loaders, 107 brush tractors, 20 graders, 69 wheel loaders, 47 MKSM “Barsik”, 150 dump trucks, and others were among them. </p> <p> </p> <p> 358 tons of anti-icing treatment were used on the roads per day, including 31 tons of reagent and 327 tons of sand-salt mixture. </p> <p> </p> <p> According to the districts’ administrations, 592 road workers will go to the streets of Kazan for snow removal and 294 units of special equipment will be used today. </p> <p> </p> <p> In total, more than 702.6 thousand tons of snow were removed from the streets of the city since the beginning of the winter period, reports the Committee of External Improvement of the Executive Committee. </p>
