Almost 300 people will be trained at the volunteer school of “Tom Sawyer” fest

<p> Submission of applications for the participation in the volunteer school of “Tom Sawyer” fest is coming to the end. The training will be held from October 25 to November 30 at the Kazan State University of architecture and construction (KGASU). More details about the event were presented today by its organizers at the press conference in the News Agency "Tatar-inform". </p> <p> People over 18 years can take part in the volunteer school, the training will be free of charge. The main thing is the desire to get acquainted with the theory, philosophy and technology of restoration, as well as with its legislative base, Deputy chairman of the Tatarstan branch of the all-Russian society for the protection of historical and cultural monuments Farida Zabirova mentioned. “In total, it is planned to invite 300 people for training. Today, about 270 participants have registered, including activists from Samara, Nizhny Novgorod and Poland”, – she said and invited all those who are not indifferent to join the classes. </p> <p> At the end of the training, each participant will receive a certificate. </p> <p> “Tom Sawyer” fest - a festival in which activists and volunteers repair valuable city venues. This movement in protecting the historical environment has involved many cities in Russia. The festival started in Kazan in 2016. In four seasons of the festival, activists had renovated 15 buildings. </p> <p>   </p>
