This year, Kazan schoolchildren won 115 prizes at the All-Russian Academic Competitions

<p> This academic year, Kazan schoolchildren won 115 prizes at the final stage of the All – Russian Academic Competitions - 30 more than in 2019. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, thanked parents and teachers for their educational work. “The developed infrastructure of the educational system also contributes to the victories of our children – we are working hard on this, investing and will continue this work,”- he said. </p> <p> Irek Rizvanov, head of the Department of Education of Kazan, said that this academic year the municipal stage of the All-Russian and Republican School Academic Competitions was held online-the children fulfilled tests at their schools, the observation was conducted by the ZOOM platform. In total, 1,305 Kazan schoolchildren took part in the regional stage of the All-Russian Academic Competitions, 648 of them became winners and runner-ups. The winners and runner-ups of the republican competitions were 776 students of Kazan. In the final stage of the All-Russian School Academic Competitions, young Kazan students won 115 prizes. </p> <p> Besides, school students took part in all the main school events, activities and sports competitions during the year. </p>
