More than 800 soldiers and officers from Kazan were drafted into military service as part of the partial mobilization

Comfortable conditions have been provided for the mobilized in the assembly points.

More than 800 soldiers and officers were drafted from Kazan into military service as part of the partial mobilization, which was announced on September 21, the head of the staff of the Executive Committee Bulat Aleyev reported today at the Business Monday meeting.

The assembly points for the mobilized were organized at the Kazan Expo Center, the tank training ground and the High Armor School. The points are equipped with shops, where mobilized people can purchase the necessary goods, medical care stations, a library and a number of other services. “Despite the fact that these are only temporary accommodation facilities, they have all the sanitary and living conditions for a comfortable stay and rest of the mobilized citizens,”- B.Aleyev noted.

Partial mobilization is carried out in strict conformity with the Decree of the President of Russia, explanations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, under the control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office. Thorough verification of the legality of the mobilization, carried out by the efforts of the municipality, helps to exclude possible mistakes, B.Aleyev noted. Mainly, citizens who have previously completed military service and have the necessary military occupational specialty are being drafted. The relevant departments monitor the observance of the rights of the mobilized. For example, the employment of such citizens should be preserved.

The families of the mobilized will not be ignored. The Executive Committee employees and volunteers work with the relatives of the mobilized citizens. Relatives of those drafted into military service can necessary assistance on the hotline of the ANO “Good Kazan”: +7(843)558-74-18, as well as at the Doverie psychological support center. Psychologists provide assistance in person and remotely.

“It is important that the mobilized have confidence that their families are supported and surrounded by care. Now, families need attention, care and assistance. We believe that Kazan residents are kind and caring. Together we create a close bond and contribute to an early solution of important state tasks to strengthen peace and concord,”- B.Aleyev concluded.
