A record number of applications have been received from all over Russia for the position of Chairman of the Kazan Youth Committee

The day before the application deadline, as many as 207 applications were received from Tatarstan, the Volga region, Siberia, the Urals and Central Russia

Tomorrow will be the final day for the competitive selection for the position of Chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs of the Kazan Executive Committee. Receipt of applications began on November 5, and in less than a week, 207 applications were received from those wishing to lead the youth policy of the capital of Tatarstan.

«Youth policy is very important for Kazan, as a growing city with a large young population. Kazan has become a magnet for young people from all over Tatarstan and other Russian regions who come here to study and stay in the city. Young families form here, and children are born who will call Kazan their home. We work to meet the needs of young people and create conditions for their professional development, interesting activities, and a happy life. The new head of the Children and Youth Affairs Committee will have to address these challenging but interesting tasks as part of the team in Kazan», - said the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Applications will be accepted until tomorrow, after which a personnel assessment of the candidates will take place, as well as meetings and interviews. In the final, the contestants will present their strategy to the expert council, which will select the best candidate.
