Niagara Falls will be painted in the colors of the flag of Tatarstan

The Montreal Association of Tatars congratulates the republic on its birthday in a special way.

(KZN.RU, August 13). On August 30, Niagara Falls will be painted in the colors of the flag of Tatarstan. Representatives of the Tatar community of Montreal in Canada will congratulate Tatarstan on its birthday Republic Day this way.

Marat Salakhutdinov, the head of the Tatar community group of Montreal, said that the staining effect will be achieved through special highlighting. As it turned out, Niagara Falls is highlighted on various holidays. For example, it turned green on St. Patrick's Day, and then red on Memorial Day.

“I wanted to congratulate the Republic of Tatarstan in a special way. I wrote an application on behalf of the Montreal Association of Tatars to the Niagara Falls administration for permission to use special lighting on the Republic Day. After a while, I received a positive answer”, explained M. Salakhutdinov.
