1.37 billion rubles allocated for the reconstruction of the cultural center named after Said-Galiyev, community centers of railwaymen, Chulpan and Zalesny in Kazan

Ilsur Metshin instructed to engage new schools with the cultural events during the reconstruction of the facilities.

Cultural center named after Said-Galiyev, community centers of railwaymen, Chulpan and Zalesny will repair in Kazan. The total amount of funds allocated for the repair of these four facilities is 1.37 billion rubles. This was announced today at a Business Monday at the Executive Committee by Azat Abzalov, head of the Department of culture.

“This year we are almost completing overhaul of all our main cultural facilities. But in addition to this, we also have a large network of other social institutions, - emphasized I. Metshin. The head of the city instructed the first deputy head of the Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov to complete the audit of cultural facilities.

Ilsur Metshin noted that it is necessary to actively use the infrastructure of new schools. “All this should work for citizens. During the design and construction of the community center, it is necessary to engage new schools with cultural events”, – the Mayor said.

By the 100th anniversary of the TASSR, the only cultural center at the Derbyshki residential area will be overhauled – the cultural center named after Said-Galiyev. The building is a cultural heritage site, so the front and interior in the Stalinist Empire style will be preserved here.

Besides, this year it is planned to complete repair works in the community center of railwaymen in the village of Yudino. The community center will retain its historical look, the speaker explained.

“In addition to a convenient and comfortable concert hall, the Chulpan community center will have several choreographic rehearsal rooms. For note, the Chulpan community center will become Philharmonic’s locational concert venue and dance ensemble “Kazan”, - the head of the department of culture said about the plans.

This year, major overhaul is planned in the community center Zalesny.

A.Abzalov noted that equal coverage of the city with the community centers remains crucial. Today, community centers are needed in the dynamically developing residential areas Salavat Kupere and Azino.

I.Metshin noted that it is necessary to continue construction of the new community centers in densely populated areas of the city. “Speaking of Azino, we must do everything possible to design a decent community center there, because this territory has a population comparable to the population of Almetyevsk”, - the Mayor noted.
