The repair of the roadway will begin this year on the Millennium Bridge

This year, the repair of the roadway of the Millennium Bridge will begin in Kazan, its access roads will also be updated. Currently, a traffic scheme is being developed, which will be used during the repair.

The objects of the road network that planned to be repaired were inspected today by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. They got acquainted, in particular, with the progress of the construction of the Voznesensky Tract on the first section – from Gvardeyskaya St. to Pobedy Avenue. The road with a length of almost 4 km is planned to be put into operation in October.

The Ministry of Transport of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov noted that the most labor-intensive work will be carried out on the second section of the Voznesensky Tract (from Pobedy Avenue to the M-7 highway) with a length of 8 km this year.
