Two Tatarstan films will be presented at the International Asian Cinema Festival

Viewers will see 58 films from 26 countries and regions.

(KZN.RU, March 1). On March 2, the International Asian Cinema Festival opens in Sharm El Sheikh. Two Tatarstan films “Baigal” by Ildar Yagafarov and “Something from Her Diary” by Salavat Yuzeev are included in the competition program of the festival.

Two more films by Tatarstan directors will be shown as part of a non-competitive program: the documentary by Ilshat Rakhimbay “Complicated Pattern” and the “Overtime” (project “KinoMavlid-2018”).

In total, 58 films from 26 countries and regions will be presented at the festival of Asian cinema, including from Saudi Arabia, India, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Singapore, Tatarstan, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq. and Afghanistan.

The closing of the film festival will take place on March 8, reports the press service of the GBUK RT “TatarKino”.
