During the New Year holidays at the KyshDaKar-fest winter festival, entrepreneurs sold products for almost 6 million rubles. This was announced at a Staff Meeting at the Executive Committee by the Director of the Committee for Tourism Development Daria Sannikova.
The festival was held at two venues: at the main New Year’s festive site of the city at the Kazan Family Center and on Bauman Street. Every day, festival visitors participated in various master classes and activities. “The festival was held for small and medium–sized businesses and became a good opportunity for many participants to sell and promote their goods,”- D. Sannikova noted.
On January 4, a special food truck of the Cooks on Wheels interregional project arrived in the capital of Tatarstan. “The best chefs of Moscow travel to the regions of Russia, prepare dishes from local products and treat visitors,”- the director of the Committee for Tourism Development said about the project.
In front of the KyshDaKar-fest site at the Kazan Family Center, chefs of Moscow restaurants held a free tasting. Then the guests were joined by the chef of the Kazan restaurant, who arranged a tasting of the kystyby cooked according to his recipe.
