Sports grounds will be drawn at the Kazan Marathon

<p> (KZN.RU, April 10). Following the results of the Kazan Marathon, the three most active regions of Tatarstan will receive sports grounds. The competition will be held in Kazan on May 4-5. </p> <p> The organizing committee of the event announced a competition for the title of the most running city of the RT. Leaders are determined by the percentage of registered participants of the Kazan Marathon to the number of residents of the city. Those who take the first three places in the competition will receive the right to build a futsal field, a volleyball and basketball court and a site with sports equipment in the district. </p> <p> Counting of the participants’ number will be carried out through the electronic system of the event. The rating of districts can be monitored daily in the official social networks of the marathon, reports the press service of the sports events series “TIMERMAN”. </p> <p> This year, the marathon participants will take a new route. The start of the race will be at the Central Stadium. The route will pass in one circle and cover the main sights of the city: the Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, the Kazan Kremlin, the Kremlevskaya Embankment, numerous sports facilities such as Basket Hall, Tatneft Arena, Kazan Arena, the Palace of Water Sports, etc. The participants of the marathon will run along the Kremlevskaya and Kirovskaya dams and the Millennium Bridge. </p> <p> Anyone can apply for the race. Participants can choose one of 4 distances. The 3 km race is scheduled for May 4. The main starts of 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km will take place on May 5. Also, a children's run of 600 meters will be held within the framework of the Kazan Marathon. </p>
