Violin-wunderkind Leah Zhu will perform at the L'arte del arco festival

<p> (KZN.RU, February 26). The VI International Festival L'arte del arco will open on March 14 at the Great State Concert Hall of the RT named after S. Saidashev. Concerts with the participation of the Kazan Chamber Orchestra “La Primavera” will be held until March 18 at three venues in Tatarstan: Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, and Nizhnekamsk. </p> <p> </p> <p> Two violinists Rodion Zamuruev and Leah Zhu will come out on the same stage with Kazan musicians. The first one is known as the founder of the ensemble of chamber music “Mobilis” and the winner of prestigious international festivals, including the XIII International Violin Competition named after J. S. Bach. The second one is called in the music environment the wunderkind violinist. This British girl is only 12 years old. Despite her age, she managed to perform on the stages of Spain, Britain, Italy, and Switzerland. The musicians will perform the works of Felix Mendelssohn, Georges Bizet, Alfred Schnittke, and other composers at the L'arte del arco festival in Kazan. </p> <p> </p> <p> The second concert will be held on March 15 at the Nizhnekamsk Music College named after S. Saidashev, the next day – again at the GSCH named after S. Seidashev, then in the organ hall of Naberezhnye Chelny. Tatarstan residents will be able to appreciate the play of the violinist Irmina Trincos, who represents both Poland and Greece, cellists from Croatia Monika Leskovar, violinist Nikita Borisoglebsky, and cellist Denis Shapovalov. The closure of the L'arte del arco will take place on March 18 at the GSCH named after S. Seidashev. </p>
