(KZN.RU, August 8). Young Kazan directors can win 1 million rubles. To do this, they need to shoot a short film and send it to the competition “A4”.

Participants are invited to choose one of the proposed topics on the contest website and shoot a short film of up to five minutes. Works are accepted until September 30. The film-winner will be announced at the closing ceremony of the Street Cinema Festival in Moscow. The author of the best one will receive 1 million rubles.

Experts of the competition will be Alexey Popogrebsky, a film director, the chairman of the jury in “Kinotavr-2018”, Andrey Zolotarev, one of the leading Russian scriptwriters, author of the films Gravity, Ice, Coach, and Vladimir Vdovichenkov, a theater and film actor.

The competition “A4” is held in Russia for the second time. Last year, the organizing committee of the event received 256 films from all over the country, reports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
