Minister of Education of the UAE on the Games of the Future: “It is highly interesting and in demand”

Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi met with Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin

Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education of the UAE and Chairman of UAE General Authority of Sports, arrived in Kazan to take part in the events of the Games of the Future. He met with the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin in the Kazan Kremlin.

Speaking at the meeting Rustam Minikhanov thanked the Minister for participation in the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future. He stated that ties between Russia and the UAE in economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres are expanding and at its level Tatarstan takes an active part in strengthening Russia-Emirates relations.

This year, the UAE has become a member of the BRICS. Rustam Minnikhanov also informed the UAE minister about BRICS events to be held in October in Kazan.

Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi conveyed greetings to Rustam Minnikhanov on behalf of the UAE President and noted the strategic nature of cooperation with Russia. The Minister thanked for the invitation to the opening ceremony of the tournament. "We see how much attention is given to the development of sports in Russia. The Games of the Future are a new format, combining real and virtual sports. Today it is highly interesting and in demand,”- he emphasized.
