An interstate bus route has been launched between Kazan and Tashkent

The buses will run twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

(KZN.RU, November 27). An interstate bus route has been launched between Kazan and Tashkent. The length of the route is more than 2.6 thousand kilometers; the journey time is 43 hours.

The first bus from Kazan arrived in Tashkent on November 23. According to the Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is planned that buses will run twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Passengers will be served by comfortable Chinese buses “Yutong”.

According to the agreements between Uzbekistan, Russia and Kazakhstan, passengers of the bus journey will pass through three checkpoints on the Uzbek-Kazakh and Kazakh-Russian borders in a priority order.

According to the management of the Tatarstan company “Mir Transport”, an authorized carrier of Kazan-Tashkent bus routes, they plan to launch similar routes in other cities of Uzbekistan in the future.

The new route was the second one between Russia and Uzbekistan. From mid-September this year, buses run between Tashkent and Nizhny Novgorod.
