The Mayor of Kazan: «Each one of you is a great example of respect for the traditions and history of our people»

<p> The large families were honored at the event, dedicated to the Heroes of the Fatherland Day, which took place at the Kazan City Hall. The Kitaev family, which brings up seven children, became the largest. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin presented letters of thanks to the families for their significant contribution to the preservation of traditions and the upbringing of the younger generation. </p> <p> Addressing the audience, Ilsur Metshin noted the special role of large families in the life of the city and the country. «Each of you is not just a family, but also a great example of respect for the traditions and history of our people, an example of preserving and transmitting enduring values and correct attitudes to the younger generations. No doubt, kind and open–minded children grow up in such families» – - the Mayor emphasized. </p> <p> The Kitaev family, which brings up seven children, became the most numerous at the event. «Family is the greatest value for a person. Everything in life can change, but there will always be those people who sincerely love you» – said Elmir Kitaev. </p> <p> The spouses successfully combine raising children with social and professional activities. Maryam Kitaeva is a psychologist, public figure, and organizer of a charity club for mothers, which supports women on maternity leave. In addition, she is the patron of a project to revive springs in Tatarstan. </p> <p> «I believe that through the example of our family, we have the potential to inspire others to create similar large, happy, loving and joyful families» – noted Maryam Kitaeva. </p> <p>     </p>
