The company continued operation during the pandemic and fully retained its staff.
The Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin visited a large manufacturing site – the Nega factory. The company produces up to 500 tons of paper per month for the production of napkins, toilet paper and paper towels.
For 15 years of operation, the factory has occupied a firm position among enterprises that produce sanitary and hygienic goods.
The factory has three workshops: for the production of paper, the production of paper towels and toilet paper, as well as for the production of napkins. The production capacity is 500 tons of paper per month. Four million packs of paper towels, toilet paper and napkins is made of it. The goods are delivered to Tatarstan retailers, as well as to the regions of Russia, and are even exported to neighboring countries.
Ilsur Metshin asked the head of the factory, Aleksander Lutovinov, about the challenges of the company during the pandemic.
“The factory enters the register of strategic enterprises and we continued operation during the pandemic, non-stop production. There were no reduction in staff. However, due to the closure of public catering establishments, the number of consumers has decreased, and as a result, revenue has decreased by 20%”, - A.Lutovinov said.
“We will definitely do everything possible in supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Currently, there are special programs for this. Moreover, your production is important for residents”, - Ilsur Metshin said.
