The Russian Rowing Cup takes place in Kazan

About 350 athletes from all over the country will participate at the tournament.

Kazan hosts another major sports event – the Russian Rowing Cup. About 350 best rowers from all over the country will take part at the tournament, including the silver medalists of the 2020 Olympic Games Anna Prakaten and Elena Oryabinskaya, as well as the finalist of the Tokyo Olympics, the world champion in indoor rowing- Alexander Vyazovkin.

The competitions will take place on 1-4 July at the Rowing Sports Center. In addition, as part of the tournament, national teams will be selected to participate at the I All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports, which will be held in August at the training center “Lake Krugloye” in Moscow region. The competition plan will be similar to the program of the 2024 Olympic Games and will be the main start of the season for Russian athletes, the Press Office of Tatarstan Ministry of Sports reported.
