The team of young Kazan robot technicians won in one of the categories of the “Two Capitals Tournament”

<p> (KZN.RU, December 27). The team of young Kazan robot technicians “5Megabyte” became the winner in one of the categories of the “Two Capitals Tournament”. Competitions for the development of robots were held in Moscow. In 2019, they will take place in the Republic of Tatarstan. </p> <p> </p> <p> On December 22-23, the final robotics tournament was held in the capital of Russia. It gathered 32 teams of schoolchildren 10-18 years old from St. Petersburg, Moscow, and the Kazan. The teams developed robots, which bake and sell pies, park cars, distribute pipes on construction sites along the lines of future engineering communications and help archaeologists to place artifacts on the surface. Participants competed in two age groups: 10-14 years and 14-18 years. </p> <p> </p> <p> The Kazan schoolchildren performed best of all In the individual competition. The team “5Megabyte” won in the category “Excavations”. The national team of Tatarstan with the children from all over the republic took second place in the overall standings of the category “Fifth Element”, won in the categories “Effective Communication”, “Successful Start”, “Team Spirit”, and “Rational Approach”. By the results of the competition, the Republic of Tatarstan won the Cup of the “Two Capitals Tournament”, which gives the right to host the next tournament in December 2019, reports to the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the RT. </p>
