Film screenings will be held in the House of Tatar Book and on the embankment of Kaban Lake.
(KZN.RU, June 28). In the first week of July, there will be screenings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after S. Gerasimov (VGIK). Viewers will see two unique programs, which include both modern and well-known films.
The special guests of film screenings will be Kirill Razlogov, the head of the VGIK film education methods development department, a Russian film expert, critic, program director of the Moscow International Film Festival, and Nina Kochelyaeva, the leading researcher of the VGIK film education methods department, director of the New Institute of Cultural Research, UNESCO consultant.
On July 2 at 6 pm, film screenings will be held in the House of the Tatar Book, located in the memorial apartment of the writer Sharif Kamal. The audiende will be presented with a black and white film selection of three movies: “My Heart is in the Mountains” (director R. Khamdamov), “Scarecrow” (director A. Kott) and “Peter. Chernukha” (director D. Volkov). Also, there will be a film discussion with Kirill Razlogov and Nina Kochelyaeva.
On July 4 at 9 pm, on the embankment of the Kaban Lake K. Razlogov and N.Kochelyaeva will present another unique program consisting of four films: “Pharmacist” (director S.Govorukhin), “Sleep on a Summer Morning” (director F. Bondarchuk), “Double-bass” (director A. Melikyan) and “Hard Work of Old Fates” (director P. Buslov).
It is planned that this program will also be seen in other cities of Tatarstan, reports the press office of the Directorate “Time of Cinema”.
