The KFU and the University Hospital open the School of Health

<p> (KZN.RU, January 16). On January 24, the Kazan Federal University and the University Clinic of the KFU open the School of Health. The project will include lectures on medical topics, interactivity, a guided tour, as well as the draw of a comprehensive examination of the heart and special examinations of women's and men's health. </p> <p> </p> <p> Thus, during the evening, medical practitioners of the KFU clinic, teachers of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of the KFU will tell about modern methods of treating the most common diseases, secrets of longevity, and answer audience questions. Guests will learn the myths and truths about gastritis, learn to recognize the first sign of kidney problems and the diabetes symptoms. </p> <p> </p> <p> In addition, everyone will be able to check their height and weight, make a fluorography, measure the level of glucose in the blood and go through other offices of the University Clinic of the KFU. The guests of the evening will also take part in the draw of three examinations: a comprehensive examination of the heart, special examinations of women's and men's health. Programs of early diagnostics will allow collecting tests in a short time, conducting research and learning about the condition of the body. </p> <p> </p> <p> The School of Health will be held at the University Hospital for the first time. The project is to become a regular one. Its goal is to expand knowledge of modern medicine for the citizens, to explain the importance of attentive attitude to one’s health and timely visiting doctors. </p> <p> </p> <p> Everybody who wishes to plunge into the world of medicine is invited in the clinic of the University Clinic of Kazan Federal University on January 24 at 6 pm.
