Kazan residents are more likely to use public transport

<p> Since the beginning of the year, Kazan's public transport has transported 112.6 million passengers. This is 7.4% more compared to the first half of 2022. </p> <p> About 76.3 million passengers used buses. It increased by 4% compared to January-July 2022 (73.5 million). </p> <p> At the same time, the highest growth in passenger volume by 18.7% was recorded on trolleybuses, which transported 12.3 million people against 10.4 million in 2022. </p> <p> The metro served 16.3 million passengers (+16.1%), trams – 7.7 million (+12.1%), according to the Transport Committee of Kazan. </p>
