Kazan citizens have an opportunity to test their knowledge about the different peoples of Russia at the “Major ethnographic dictation”

Dictation will be available online and in-person.

On November 1, Kazan citizens will be able to join the all-Russian action "Major ethnographic dictation". Citizens will test their knowledge about the people living in the country. It will be possible to write a dictation both in- person and online. The citizens of Russian and foreign countries who speak Russian, regardless of the age, can participate in the event.

The dictation will consist of 30 test tasks: 20 questions are the Federal part of the dictation, common for all country, and 10 more questions are the regional part.

The participants can score maximum 100 points, upon the completion of all tasks they will be given a certificate. Until November 10, correct answers and analysis of typical mistakes will be announced on the official website.

In Kazan, the People’s Friendship Centre (Pavlukhin str. 57) will host the ethnographic dictation, the registration of other sites is still ongoing. In addition, a dictation will be available online on the official website.

The beginning of the dictation is scheduled for 11.00, according to the organizers.
