Kazan citizens are invited to the Saidashev Great State Concert Hall to the concerts of the Christmas festival

Each program includes a whole range of popular New Year's music: from classic to pop, from carols to jazz.

(KZN.RU, December 29). On January 3, 4, and 5, the concerts of the IV Christmas Festival will be held in Kazan in the Great State Concert Hall named after S. Saidashev. There are three programs: “A Masked Ball”, “Christmas with Candlelight”, and “Christmas Hit Cocktail”. They include a whole range of popular works of the New Year theme: from classical to pop, from carols to jazz.

On January 3, the Kazan Chamber Orchestra “Renaissance” under the direction of Anastasia Ilyushkina and Lydia Ilyushkina will perform the program “A Masked Ball”. The team consists of 16 girls, professional musicians. The orchestra seeks to surprise the audience with each performance by introducing elements of a costume show, decorating the program with choreographic elements. A lot of vocal music by Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, as well as hits from the repertoire of F. Sinatra and A. Bocelli will be performed. Soloists: Emir Khairov (vocal), Regina Valieva (vocal), Mila Semendueva (cello), Nadezhda Ignatieva (vocal), and Tatiana Brening (piano).

On January 4, the festival will feature five quartets of young talented musicians from the classical string composition to vocal ensembles. The program of the concert “Christmas with Candlelight” includes works by A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach, F. Schubert, Christmas chorals and carols, as well as original interpretations of M. Jackson, Nirvana, Metallica, and AC/DC. Each of the quartets will perform solo and in various combinations.

On January 5, the Christmas festival will be finished by the performance of the Youth Theater Orchestra on Bulak (the artistic director and conductor is Dmitry Chirkov). The program “Christmas Hit Cocktail” will present the audience an unusual mix of classical (Vivaldi, Brahms) and modern (Webber, Piazzolla) music, a number of works by young composers of Tatarstan, music from the films “Home Alone” and “Pirates”, “Happy New Year” by ABBA, and more.

The concert starts at 6 pm, reports the press service of the GSCH named after S. Saidashev.
