Kazan citizens are invited to a creative meeting with participants of the Chaliapin festival

The series of meetings “Mask and Soul” is dedicated to the 145th birth anniversary of the great bass.

(KZN.RU, January 23). A number of creative meetings with participants of the XXXVI International Opera Festival named after F. Chaliapin will be held from 3 to 11 of February in the House of Actor named after M. Salimzhanov in Kazan. The festival will be held in the capital of Tatarstan from 1 to 22 of February.

The series of meetings, called by the lines of Fyodor Chaliapin's famous autobiographical book “Mask and Soul”, is dedicated to the 145th birth anniversary of the great bass.

Efim Meisel (USA), the director of the premiere performance “Nabucco”, which opens the current Chaliapin Festival, will be among the guests of the House of Actor. The meeting with him will take place on February 3 at 4 pm.

On February 5, vocalist Boris Statsenko (Russia-Germany) will meet with Kazan citizens at 6 pm, and vocalist Mikhail Svetlov from the USA – on February 11 at 4 pm.

On February 8, a meeting with Gulnora Gatina and Venera Protasova will be held for young professionals at 6 pm.
