Kazan citizens will learn to play drums

Danil Prokopiev, a St. Petersburg drummer, will conduct the master class at the School of Rock.

(KZN.RU, October 16). On October 18 and 19, Danil Prokopiev, the official artist of Mapex (percussion instruments), the drummer of the band “Markscheider Kunst” from St. Petersburg, will hold master classes in Kazan School of Rock “The Road”. The citizens will learn to play the drums from the very beginning to a more professional level.

The theme of the first master class is “Hands setting. Feet setting. Sitting. Rudiment. Interactive”. At the second lesson, new drummers will become more familiar with playing the instrument, its theme will be “World Rhythms. Style. Articulation”.

Danil Prokopiev will conduct both classes. He is a famous Russian drummer who founded a drum and percussion school in St. Petersburg and collaborated with many well-known Russian performers: Leonid Agutin, Angelica Varum, Elena Vaenga, Orlando Vale Maraca, Animaljazz, Svetlana Surganova, and Maksim.

Master classes will be held at the School of Rock at Moskovskaya Street, №57/13. The beginning of classes is scheduled for 5 pm, reports the Department of Culture.
