Kazan residents will learn about opera art in the CCC “Smena”

The lecture will be given by Anna Sokolskaya, an associate professor at the Kazan Conservatory.

(KZN.RU, January 18). On January 24, Kazan citizens are invited to the center of contemporary culture “Smena” at a lecture on opera art. Anna Sokolskaya, an associate professor at the Kazan Conservatory, a candidate of art history and author of publications on the modern opera theater, will tell about the history of the opera and how it has changed over time.

Visitors will learn a lot about art that appeared as an independent aesthetic experiment and soon became a subject to the state and commercial institutions.

The lecture will be held at the address Shakhidi Street, №7. The beginning is scheduled for 7.30 pm, report the organizers.
