The lecture and lessons of Nordic walking will be held in Uritsky Park on June 12.
(KZN.RU, June 11). On June 12, Kazan citizens will learn how to preserve the health of the spine and large joints. Medical volunteers will give a lecture on the causes, clinical manifestations and measures to prevent osteoarthritis.
Volunteers will also demonstrate exercises for the knee, hip, shoulder and elbow joints at the lesson. Everyone will be able to learn the technique of Nordic walking, participate in mass training and improve their skills in this sport.
The lesson will begin at 9 am in the Uritsky Park, reports in the Tatarstan regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement “Medic Volunteers”.
The social and preventive program “Safe Joint Health” started in Russia on February 1 of this year. The goal of the project is to preserve and strengthen the health of all categories of the Russian population, to stimulate active longevity, to prevent diseases of the joints and the spine.
The program is organized with the support of the Research Institute of Rheumatology of V. Nasonova, the Association of Rheumatologists of Russia, and the Russian Scientific Medical Society of Therapists.
