The residents of Kazan can check the blood coagulability

The express diagnostics points will be placed in the polyclinic of KFU.

On October 14, Kazan will join to the all-Russian campaign "A day of INR". Everyone interested will be able to pass a free express diagnostic on the blood coagulability or in another way – the international normalized ratio. Doctors recommend to undergo the diagnostics at least once a month.

The blood clotting factor is especially important for those patients who regularly take anticoagulants of indirect action (for example, warfarin). They are prescribed for blood thinning to avoid thrombus formation.

Analysis of the blood coagulation will allow to assess the impact of anticoagulants and to adjust the treatment.

The test can be passed in the polyclinic of KFU at Vishnevsky street, 2 a, office 431.

According to the experts, a blood clotting may cause a life-threatening condition such as heart attack, blood stroke or thromboembolism. In Russia, pulmonary embolism ranks third among the causes of death from cardiovascular diseases.
