The Museum of Islamic culture in Kazan invites citizens to a celebration dedicated to the all-Russian event “Night of arts”. The program includes performance, exhibition and various master classes.
A graduate of KFU, a talented young artist Nargiza Sakhabieva will present a performance on the art of graphic design. Studying Islam and being inspired by the works of modern art, Nargiza created a collection of paintings that combine modern graphics and Arabic writing. The performance will begin at 18.00.
A master class on Tatar-Muslim musical art by Kazan Hijazz band is scheduled at 19.30.
Citizens will have an opportunity to listen to the history of the tea-drinking tradition and taste Tatar tea with herbs at the class dedicated to the ceremony of Tatar tea- drinking at 21.00, according to the organizers.
Also, during the event there will be master classes from the famous Tatar calligrapher Alfiya Iskhakova and training in henna painting mehendi.
