The Kazan Kremlin will be restored, and the Maritime Museum will open in the Admiralty

<p> (KZN.RU, June 14). Objects of the Kazan Kremlin will be restored and it is planned to open the Maritime Museum in the territory near the Admiralty. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, told Vladimir Medinsky, the Minister of Culture of the RF, about this during a working meeting. They discussed issues related to the restoration of cultural objects in the territory of Tatarstan. </p> <p> Restoration works at the facilities of the Kazan Kremlin will be conducted taking into account all norms and requirements, noted Rustam Minnikhanov. According to him, various government departments, which were located on the territory of the Kremlin, moved to other buildings. The vacated space will be given for museum and exhibition activities. This will increase the tourist attraction of the historic site. </p> <p> In addition, the President of the RT told about the project of improvement of the Admiralty building and the adjacent territory for the establishment of the Maritime Museum. The republic counts on federal co-financing of this project. </p> <p> During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov also reported on the results of the program for the modernization and construction of cultural houses in the regions of the republic. According to him, there is a major overhaul of 42 existing houses of culture and construction of 28 new ones in Tatarstan now. </p> <p> In 2020, it is planned to present in Moscow a number of projects in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of Tatarstan. It will demonstrate the wealth and cultural opportunities of the region, reports the press service of the President of the RT. </p>
