Kazan students won the double Grand Prix of the Russian Student Spring for the first time in history

Kazan students in the national team of Tatarstan won the double Grand Prix of the Russian Student Spring for the regional program and in the overall standings. Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, told about the results of the XXVII festival “Russian Student Spring” ended last weekend in Perm at the Business Monday. </p> <p> The main student festival this year brought together more than 3 thousand people, the winners of the qualifying stages from 80 regions of Russia. During the week, they competed in the following areas: music, choreography, theater, original genre, journalism, and regional programs. Kazan students became laureates in all of them. A. Faizov noted that 95 out of 98 participants of the Tatarstan delegation are students of capital universities of the republic: the KFU, KNRTU-KAI, KNRTU-KKhTI, KSUAE, KIU of Timiryasovm and the Institute of Management “TISBI”. “Once again, our students showed that Kazan is the center of talented youth and students of Russia in the conditions of the strongest competition”, marked the speaker. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that it is very important that students not only gain knowledge, but also live an active life. In his opinion, they realize their creative talents and also show that they are the best in Russia. “Despite the thousand-year-old age of the capital of the RT, Kazan is a city of students. We have a large number of universities and creative, talented students”, noted the Mayor of the capital of the RT and congratulated the winners of the festival. </p>
