Kazan rescuers passed special tactical exercises before WorldSkills Russia Championship

<p> (KZN.RU, May 16). Today, interdepartmental tactical and special exercises of doctors, rescuers, and firefighters have been held at the international exhibition center “Kazan Expo” to ensure the safety of participants and guests of the Championship WorldSkills Russia. </p> <p> According to the plan of exercises in block “C”, an oxygen cylinder explosion occurred during the welding. A partial collapse of structures and ignition of some elements happened. According to legend, there are thousands of people in the building at this time, there were panic and crowding among the spectators. </p> <p> While emergency services were coming to the building, the facility’s staff took some of the people outside. The statisticians got accustomed to the role of the victims. As soon as the firemen of the emergency response service 10 entered the building, they began to cry for help. Rescuers of the zonal search and rescue squad №2 of the PSS at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RT arrived at the rescue together with firefighters. EMERCOM officers searched for the injured, then carried them on a stretcher to the site, where they treated by brigades of medical care and emergency medicine. EMERCOM officers provided first aid to some of the victims right on spot. At the same time, the firemen extinguished the burning structures. </p> <p> According to the scenario, 15 people were injured. Thanks to the coordinated actions of firefighters, rescuers, and doctors, the exercises were evaluated as “good”. All tasks were performed in full, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the RT. </p>
