Kazan chefs cooked 30 kg of national Tatar pastry for the residents of Pyatigorsk

The capital of Tatarstan took part in the festival “Cuisines of Russian Regions”.

(KZN.RU, November 4). On the Day of National Unity, a gastronomic festival “Cuisines of Russian Regions” was held in Pyatigorsk. Kazan presented Tatar national cuisine in all its diversity at the festival. The residents of Pyatigorsk could try the famous Tatar triangles “echpochmak”, potato kystybyi, soup from homemade noodles “tokmach”, and also participated in a master class on cooking peremyach.

In total, 10 Russian cities took part in the festival, which was held under the federal brand “Gastronomic Map of Russia”. Darya Sannikova, director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, told the residents of Pyatigorsk and TV viewers of a number of federal and local TV channels about the successes of gastro-tourism in the capital of Tatarstan. D. Sannikova and the chef of the restaurant of the Tatar national cuisine held a master class on cooking peremyach for all interested guests of the festival. In addition, during the work of the festival fair, she demonstrated the process of preparing homemade noodle soup “tokmach” to Andrey Skripnik, the Mayor of Pyatigorsk, and Alexey Konyushkov, the deputy head of Rosturism.

Residents of Pyatigorsk enjoyed the Tatar cuisine. According to the Tourism Promotion Committee, the queue lined up early in the morning for dishes of Kazan chefs. At the end of the festival, Kazan chefs made 30 kg of echpochmaks, peremyaches, kystybyy, as well as a 10-liter cauldron with tokmach soup.

Last summer, the fifth festival of regional cuisine “Gastronomic Map of Russia” was held in Kazan. 11 cities hosting the World Cup presented dishes of different national cuisines for residents and city guests.
